Sam & Zack escaped the frigid cold of Tasmania to elope on the golden sands of Wategos Beach in Byron Bay. Our 2 lovebirds brought 1 set of parents along to witness the ceremony and join in on the celebration. They also had plans to head home after their holiday in Byron and throw a party at the local Pub upon their return. Their accomodation was literally across the road from the beach, so a short walk brought them to a super intimate piece of sand. The weather was threatening so we decided to bring forward the ceremony time by 2 hours to escape the rain. We just felt the rain drops right at the end of their photography session so the timing was perfect! Our couples often ask us what the Plan B will be in the case of bad weather, we're blessed to still not be rained out thus far. We're also blessed to work with vendors who are able to be flexible with our plans if need be.
