Mel & Dane's adventure out to the paradise of Mavis Kitchen was really quite incredible!! They started their day by the ocean, getting ready with their gorgeous young son, as you can see in the video below. The day was forecast for some pretty heavy showers and we had some Dry Plan B's ready to roll for their Elopement at their Tweed Coast Hinterland venue. Our couple were super keen to roll with Plan A, up on the hill, looking towards the Mountains as Mt Wollumbin hid behind the clouds. The power of their love was strong enough to blow the rain aside at all the right moments. We had full hot sun moments, to those darker moody skies which drenched the surrounding landscape, bypassing us to leave our lovers dry and with big smiles as they got Hitched in Paradise!!
We definitely all worked together as an amazing team to make this one happen! Our umbrella stash grew just before this Micro Wedding and they were super helpful in one short mid-ceremony downpour!!! Our fav Tweed Coast Celebrant, Benjamin Carlyle, held the space so well as we paused after the Wedding Vows, let the rain pass by, to carry on. And then there was full sun again for the Kiss and sending back down the aisle!! We all danced between the weather cycles, keeping everyone dry and laughing in delight when the shone it's face again!! One of our fav elopements out to this Tweed Hinterland beauty!!
