Cory and Nathan had booked in their venue of the Earth House many moons before their day would roll around. They loved this majestic Byron Bay Hinterland venue for it's enormous Fig Tree and the surrounding landscape. They also loved that this venue offered the dry comfort in that chance that rain may play a part of their intimate elopement!! As chance would have it, the rain came with such a force the day before that their was some localised flooding on the morning of their wedding, which could crush the dreams of any couple. As it turns out this had us creating absolute magic inside this incredible rammed earth building, which is such a work of art. We made much more than lemonade from the lemons and our lucky couple we even able to get a bunch of photos outside, in the fields and along a country lane - in between the downpours of this day. We choose to pull the timing of everything forwards on this day as the overcast weather wasn't going to offer a sunset and in the end, it was all just perfect!! We loved the courage of this couple and their ability to stay calm in the adversities that came their way. The ceremony was gorgeous with Nathan's son taking a starring roll at times and friends and family Zooming in from around the world!! These photos below truly do tell the story of this beautiful Hitched in Paradise elopement in the hills of Byron Bay.
