Jess & Chris drove up from the Central Coast of NSW to the amazing Mavis's Kitchen, in the lush Northern Rivers, with their gorgoues young son. They also had Mum & Dad come along for the journey to help with the baby sitting duties and to be their VIP witnesses on the day. Their plan was to elope in this amazing hinterland property in the mid morning, then share a gourmet lunch post ceremony. Kasey Walker would head out in the early morning to beautify our bride, unfortunately as forecasted, the Weather Gods weren't on our side that morning. The rain was falling and we had to rethink our usual hill top ceremony option. Lucky for us, Mavis's has quite a few options on its diverse property, including a dry space under a large balcony. We waited for a short while and then right on cue there was a break in the weather. We set up the arbor and boho rug under a Figtree and were blessed with a 30 minute window of clear skies for the ceremony. A very proud Dad walked Jess down the aisle, holding a gorgeous Lola's Wildflowers bouquet and into arms of Chris. Benjamin Carlyle creating some warm vibes for our somewhat nervous couple, creating warm smiles and easing the tension. I love how much happiness Wanderer & The Wild captured throughout the ceremony and also in the photo session, our lovebirds smitten as a married couple!! In the end Love was the winner and the lunch celebrations lasted into the afternoon.
