Jack & Holly came to Paradise with a vision: a relaxed, boho elopement close to the ocean, but not right on the sand. So we suggested a Little Wategos Elopement in Byron Bay. One of our favourite hidden gems, the magical forest glen, just a short walk from Byron’s most iconic beaches.
Surrounded by 10 of their nearest and dearest, their day was filled with emotion, nature, and joy.
We loved creating this Little Wategos Elopement in Byron Bay:
- 💍 Happy tears and heartfelt vows, grounded by Benjamin Carlyle’s warm energy
- ✨ A beautiful ceremony in the shade of the forest, just metres from the sea
- 🌿 The driftwood arbour, wild florals by Lola’s Wildflowers, and nature did the rest
- 🧘♂️ Benjamin’s ability to read the room and hold space made the ceremony feel truly shared
- 📸 Bird & Boy Photography captured the magic as the couple chased light from the headland to the hinterland
- 🏙️ Their photo adventure included Little Wategos, the beach, Byron town, and into the rolling hills
- 🌅 The result? A day that was deeply personal, endlessly photogenic, and effortlessly Byron
Little Wategos offers the ultimate blend—coastal proximity with forest serenity, no sandy toes required. It’s part of the Cape Byron National Park, right near Australia’s most easterly point, where dolphins play and the views stretch across the bay to the hinterland.
