Tucked beneath the most easterly point of Australia, Byron Bay Elopements at Little Wategos are a truly special, tucked-away ceremony location. Just a 10-minute paved walk from Wategos Beach—via a short hike up some stairs and down the other side—this location offers uninterrupted ocean views, golden light, and pure coastal stillness.
On low tide, you can skip the steps and walk the beach track around the headland (sand permitting), adding an adventurous start to your day. Ceremony options include the soft sand shoreline or a small grassy lookout area—perfect for intimate vows with just your inner circle. Little Wategos Beach is secluded, scenic & sunrise ready.
We keep styling minimal here—usually just a signature rug—to let the raw beauty of the landscape shine. While it’s one of our most photogenic spots, please note the track is not suitable for guests with mobility challenges.
