Maggies Beach is a quiet and romantic location tucked into the southern side of Cabarita Headland. With natural protection from northerly winds and a calm, laid-back vibe, it’s one of our go-to Tweed Coast beaches for intimate elopements and micro weddings.
Maggies Beach is secluded, scenic & sheltered.
Why couples love Maggies Beach Cabarita Weddings:
- Sheltered from northerly winds thanks to the headland’s natural shape
- Pandanus tree pockets perfect for shaded, beachside ceremonies
- Breathtaking post-ceremony photo ops on nearby Cabarita Headland
- Long stretch of white sand connecting all the way to Hastings Point
- A quiet, lesser-known location — ideal for private elopements
- Easy access from Kingscliff, Casuarina, and Gold Coast Airport
This is one of our favourite Hitched in Paradise beach locations – raw, beautiful, and away from the crowds.
David & Kirsty ran to paradise with their beautiful extended families and threw the most heartwarming Micro Wedding on the sacred sands of Maggies Beach, tucked into the south side of Cabarita Headland.
This was no ordinary love story — our couple first met as teens when their families would holiday together. Fast forward to now, they’ve built a life and a family of their own, and chose the Tweed Coast as the perfect place to celebrate their journey.
Why we loved David & Kirsty’s Maggies Beach Cabarita Wedding:
- 👨👩👧👦 A full-circle story of teen love turned lifelong partnership
- 🌴 Ceremony held on the sand beneath swaying pandanus trees
- 💍 Benjamin Carlyle brought the love and laughter during a warm and heartfelt ceremony
- 📸 Post-ceremony portraits captured on Cabarita Headland, with 360° views of the coastline by Wanderer and The Wild.
- 🍹 Guests relaxed by the beach post-vows, enjoying drinks and the view
- 🌤️ Light clouds and a nugget of rain that kindly bypassed the beach — good vibes only!
This is what Hitched in Paradise Micro Weddings are all about — meaningful moments, good company, stunning scenery, and plenty of love.
